Before I go...

A miracle happened in my life on Wednesday and I've been dying to tell you all about it. Especially you, Mom.
I decided to let my hair go completely natural on Wednesday morning before I got on the plane in Montreal to come home. Notice that its somewhat strait on top and curly on the bottom. I should have had Roommate take some better pictures of the back since thats the "worst" part of my mane. Just so you know, I had straightened it the day before, let a slight amount of humidity get to it and then I slept on it. This is the result. Seriously. Not pretty.
Then I got it thermally straightened. And I mean...STRAIGHTENED. For about 10 months actually. This picture was taken the same day as the above one. Today I washed it for the first time since it was treated...and I have to say that I think it was worth every single penny that I paid. I took a blow dryer to my hair and wha-la, it was finished. Do you know how many hours of life that this will give me????

I can't stop talking about my straight hair and how much I love it.
I just took this picture to show you what my hair looks like after ONLY blow-drying it.

Ok...I really have to finish packing now for my trip that I'm going on in 7 hours. :)

Wow Steph! It looks really great. I remember you having wavy hair but I never knew it was such a pain. I bet you love it! By the way I loved the comment about the brakes going out on the mini van. What adventures we had in NC. Remember toilet papering Andy's house and car and then then the car chase with the crazy man! SOOOO scary. Ah...the good old days. :o) Give Melissa a big squeeze for me and tell her congrats!

Your hair is very beautiful. I was surprised though. When you said "miracle", I was expecting something like, "I saw the Virgin Mary in my peanut butter jar."

Glad you liked Montreal. We'll definitely check it out- I love how people are different. Here you are, ecstatic about straight hair, and I would do anything to have my hair permanently curly. Maybe Ill get a perm. HA!

I'm glad your hair is straight. Mine can be really gay sometimes.
