How Can It Be Wednesday?

This week is going by too quickly. I mean...I haven't even taken my laundry in this week yet! I really need to get on it if I'm really going to Spain on Saturday, right? Just to get you excited about my upcoming trip, check out this amazing picture. Oh yeah - that's the Rock of Gibraltar on the southern tip of Spain. Look familiar?? And fyi.com - did you know that it is inhabited by macaques? Seriously. Awesome unknown diseases here I come!

But since I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands this week to come up with really whitty things to say, I'll show you some pictures from one of my latest adventures.

A few weeks ago I went hiking in Marin and the lovely Kristine took some pictures and sent them to me. And since I'm all about entertaining you, here they are.

Then suddenly you're in the middle of a forest all the way until you get down to the beach. And a very beautiful forest at that, don't you think?

And really, this pictures it the entire reason that I went hiking. Yep, that's right. For a polish dog at the hot dog stand at Stinson Beach. I'll never forget the first time I ate one. Oh yum. I'm just glad that Kristine was just as excited about it as I was.

And after the following picture was taken, Kristine and I decided to take a nap right there and have Jeremy, Sara, and Clark hike back to the car and then come get us. I mean...Kristine and I were supposed to go to Santa Barbara that weekend anyway, so we needed to get a little beach time in! Two hour nap in the sun in the sand. Check.
