For some of you who have been to San Francisco in the summertime, you know how wonderful the weather can be. hmm.. We were invited to go check out some nice swimming spots in Marin today and it was awesome. The first place we went was a little swimming hole outside of Fairfax in the middle of the woods. The water was fresh and very very chilly, but once your legs became numb to it, it wasn't all that bad.
After laying on the rocks like a bunch of seals, we went out to Tomales Bay and went swimming at Shell Beach. The water was great and we swam out in it for quite a while. The best part of the day was when we came home and realized that we were sunburned. Hallelujah. Silvia's camera battery died so we don't really have any pictures, but I found a few on the web. The one here is of Shell Beach. When we left Marin it was 90 degrees and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge it was 58 and so foggy that we couldn't even see the towers on the bridge. ewwwwww.
