I'm going insane
I leave for my meeting in 11 days. Things are crazy around here; my desk is a huge mess and there are boxes everwhere. My phone is ringing off the hook and more urgent issues keep coming up.
I'm imagining a happy place; far far away from here.

What kind of meeting? Is it in some fantastic location? Will you get to lounge by a pool all day while Fabio brings you frosty beverages?!?! Yummmmmmm... doesn't that sound nice right about now!
PS: it's snowing here.
I work for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and our Annual Meeting is what is coming up. Its the only meeting I work all year, so its huge. I mean...like 35,000 people huge. I wish that I could relax while I'm there but fat chance of that happening. I've been looking for comfortable shoes today since I'll be on my feet all day long for 10 days in a row. At least my I get taken out to eat a bunch while I'm there. We can chat more about it this weekend.
oh...and its in Vegas. great. smoke filled rooms and loud wheel of fortune machines going off all day long. i can't wait.
hmmmm... well, it could be worse. It could be in Acapulco and you would be so busy you wouldn't have time to enjoy it!! Sounds like kind of a headache though. I hope you have some serious R&R time planned after you pull this thing off!
